“Until we went to this workshop, we really didn’t have an organized plan for how to work on our relationship. Great workshop and useful handouts with step-by-step instructions for things to DO! We’ve been using the tools we learned for the past 7 months and making more actual progress than we made in the whole 10 years prior in our communication and our sense of closeness.”
“After a string of break-ups, my daughter was crushed. I brought her to this workshop to help her make better choices and evaluations in the future for relationships. She says she learned a LOT about what has gone wrong with her prior boyfriends and has finally gotten into a great relationship with a good guy for a change and I think this one just might last. What was even more surprising to me, though, is after being married almost 25 years myself, I brought the tools I learned home to my husband and we’ve been having more fun together than ever!”
“My girlfriend and I had been engaged for over a year and I kept dragging my feet on a wedding date. She convinced me to come (okay, she dragged me) to this workshop and the skills we learned and the outline of things to do were such a relief to me! I saw that I’d been holding back because I didn’t know what to do if we got married and started fighting more and feeling miserable with each other like we’ve seen some of our friends do. I realized that, if that ever happened, we had the tools to fix it and I wouldn’t be trapped. Since the workshop, we’ve gotten married and it’s going better than I thought it would.”
“My wife had to drag me to this workshop. I wanted to go to the beach. I did not want to “share.” As it turned out, Dr. Nancy gave great examples, was funny enough to hold my attention, and she gave us good skills to work on… AND I didn’t have to “share!” Glad I went.”
“A friend suggested I go up to this workshop with her and I didn’t understand why because I was just recently divorced. I didn’t want another relationship. But, after the workshop, I do now feel I know what to look for next time. I think I will be able to see problems coming and know a good guy when I see one.”
